Shikai Guide:





Ichigo - Zangetsu
Ability - Getsuga Tenshou = a single tiled attack when non mastered 1x3
When mastered. No Rei Drain
Passive - None
How to master - Spamming Getsuga Tenshou, or Hitting things with Zangetsu will master it
Primary Attribute: Power
Bankai - Tensa Zangetsu - Your Attack power is not affected at all, however your attack speed and movement speed is greatly increased, overall is increased allowing you to get hits in more often, and the Getsuga tenshou turns into the black Getsuga tenshou, inflicted more damage.

Renji - Zabimaru
Ability: Extend blade - Extends your sword three tiles [Requires ability 1]
Higa Zekkou - Area affect attack, each section damages each persom on the way to its target [Ability 2 required] Passive: None
Primary Attribute: Ability
Bankai: Hiho Zabimaru - Two abilities for Bankai
Sword Extend - Releases the Snake [the actual zabimaru bankai IMO] which you control with your keys to move and such which in turn leads to..
Baboon Cannon - Allows you to fire a single tile blast from the mouth of zabimaru - inflicting damage upon your opponent.

Urahara - Benihime
Ability: Blood mist shield - This shield works on the same principle as an orihime shield - it prevents things from damaging you.
Nake - Similar in a sense to getsuga - When it is mastered it is a 1x3 tile wide attack, and when non-mastered a single tile.
Primary Attribute: Ability
Bankai: Generic Bankai, this shikai gets nothing new at the bankai level

Ikkaku - Houzukimaru
Ability - None
Passive - a chance to counter attack when struck.
How to master: Hit hollows/players with your shikai out, or have someone hit you, thus triggering your counter attack -if your lazy!
Primary Attribute: Power
Bankai:Throw Sword: the ability to throw your swords five tiles in front of you has the ability to hit twice, thanks to the return trip.
Spin Swords: spins your blades around stunning everyone around you speed doubles as a result of this.

Tousen - Suzumushi
Bankai: Non-Generic
Ability - Nake - This ability puts your opponent to sleep, for roughly 15 seconds from what I heard.
Benihikou - This ability is a 1x4 tile of blades when mastered, it starts as 1 tile, up to 70 Precent, two up to 80%, then three till mastered
Passive - none, that Tousen can see anyway.
How to master - Kill shit with Shikai, or spam its Benihikou.
Primary Attribute: Speed
Bankai - Ah, the big black bubble, one thing to note is a slight bug I believe: If You die in the bankai, all the people you trapped are stuck there. This bankai is a big blank map, where noone can see you - Unless you slash at them, Blinding their eyes so to speak.

Gin - Shinsou
Passive Ability - Walking Speed is increased as you gather more attributes for the speed attribute.
Abilities: Ikorose - Extends the Blade forward beyond your view, Wounding the opponent, hard to aim at a long distance. [Speed 1 needed]
Skewer - Point blank Spammable attack,No cooldown as far as I could tell [Requires speed 2]
How to master: Spam Ikorose, and hit things in shikai.
Primary Attribute - Speed
Bankai: As far as I can tell, this bankai is generic - unless someone can correct me on this

Komamura - Tengen - Lassies sword.
Abilities - A 1x3 Spammable attack (When mastered). with a very SMALL Cool down, be careful when spamming it or you could wind up very dead very fast.
Attribute Aquired: Power
Bankai: Kokujou Tengen Myouou(Summon a armoured giant)
Passive abilities:2x strength
Abilities:Sword smash - Your giant smashes your opponent with it's sword, does 3 times your strength as damage and bypasses all defense.

Yamamoto - Ryujin Jakka - The Old mans blade.
Abilties - creates a pillar of fire on every tile surrounding your Character - This is ability is like this regardless of whether or not you have shikai mastered.
Attribute gained: Ability Bankai - Non-Generic

Hinamori - Tobiume -
Abilities: It is able to shoot a ball of reiatsu, this ball grows to a 3x3 size icon when mastered, but still only the middle area will damage. Also once mastered it has a chance to hit the enemy with reiatsu when mastered.
Attribute aquired : Ability Bankai: Generic

Hitsugaya - Hyourinmaru - The most overrated captain. Shikai; It transforms into a dragon that mimics the players movement, you face up, it goes up, face down it goes down.
Attribute Aquired: Ability.
Bankai - Daiguren Hyourinmaru, this bankai concentrates more on physical combat unlike its shikai.
Passive abilities: 1.7xstr
Abilities:Shoot a more powerfull dragon straight out in front of you

Ichinoise - The filler shikai - Ok this one works a bit differently than the other shikais in a sense, at 70% Mastery I am told you gain a wave ability, and once it hits 90% mastery that wave becomes like Getsuga etc etc etc as a 1x3 wide tile attack. Invisibility as well - 8 steps when Mastered
Aquired Attribute: Speed Bankai: Generic

Mayuri - Ashisogi Jizou - This Shikai can be either reiatsu based or a melee type, it has the ability to apply a damage over time to an opponent if your reiatsu is higher than him if you use it's poison ability. With the poison ability this shikai is a reiatsu type.
it also has the ability to paralyze your opponent so that they may not move. The amount of time they are paralyzed is based on your current ability level, with the paralyze ability this shikai becomes a melee type.
Bankai-Konjiki Ashisogi Jizou, summons a huge caterpiller like monster.
Passive abilities- Stamina boost
Abilities - Shoot poison gas from your bankai - Does good damage and paralyzes your opponent for 6-7 seconds.
Shoot poisonus swords from your bankai - Does much better damage then the gas and paralyzes your opponent for 6-7 seconds, but has a big delay.

Kenpachi - The Nameless one - Reiatsu pressure - Rei based ability if your rei is overwhelming enough each blow has a chance to stun and slow your opponent. It should be noted also that YES you do get an eyepatch, the downside? No Ranged ability
Attributed Aquired: Power. Bankai: Its Zaraki, you dont need no bankai!

Yumichika - Fujikujaku - Effect - like Ikkaku's this one has a passive ability, This one has the ability to drain your opponents reiatsu - enabling you to keep your shikai for a longer period of time *IF* you dont suck with it.
Aquired Attribute: Ability. Bankai: Generic

Byakuya - Senbon
Passive - You lose your sword, draw it and you get banned [Shikai only]
Abilities - None
How to master - Continue to release, in a enclosed area to not hurt any one
Primary Attribute - Speed
Bankai: Two Abilities
Chire : Scatters your bankai in order to get 10 more petals to control
Senkei: Condenses your petals into a generic type bankai sword, for those of you who like melee [Requires 50% bankai mastery]. Also, wherever you click three more petal swords fly, damaging your Opponent.


Ukitake - Sougyo no Kotowari
Passive: None
Ability: Tidal wave - Launches a 1x3 tile attack when mastered, and a one tiled attack when not.
Stunning hit - Has a chance to stun your opponent when you Hit them
How to master - Spam Tidal wave, or hit Mobs with your Shikai
Primary Attribute: Speed
Bankai: You Gain a new ability refered to as water Tornado when fired Up and down it is only a single tile attack however,left and right it is looking like the crappy drawing below:

Jiroubo - Tsunzaki Garasu - The Shuriken Shikai.
Effect - Passive: You lose access to having a sword in your hands to defend yourself *if you get your zanpaku-to it IS bug abuse which is bannable*
Ability : Your now a long range fighter start throwing those Shurikens, they can hit twice once going to your opponent and the another coming back.
Aquired Attribute: Ability Bankai: Generic

Kira - Wabisuke
Ability: None
Passive effect: Doubles your opponents weight with each strike, making them run around slower - disabling most melee shikais, allowing you to create openings.
How to master: Kill things with your shikai.
Bankai: Generic, but its passive ability is upped to affecting opponents attacking speed as well, allowing you to really decimate melee based Releases, It should be noted that speed decrease time - is affected by how many speed attribute points you own.

Rukia- Sode no Shirayuki
Attribute: Ability Bankai: Generic
Passive effect - Automatically gain Ability 1
Ability - Hakuren - Has the ability to freeze your opponent for four seconds giving you a vital opening to turn the tide of battle in your favor
How to master - Continue to kill things with shikai out, or Use hakuren in a confined space to not hit anyone
Primary Attribute: Ability
Bankai: This gains nothing new at the bankai level, to my knowledge and as such Is a generic Bankai
